Oh boy.....
What fun....
On a whim, I called IBM EZSERV(HA!) again to check on the state of my laptop repair. I was told the tech could not replicate the problem and that the unit was slated for return to the customer, me. :-( OH NO, I DON'T THINK SO!
I spoke vigorously with the phone person, who transferred me to another person, who then transferred me to an actual technician in the repair depot. I explained in agonizing detail again what was happening to the display. He took all my information and tried to assure me they would do their best to fix it. I was then given back to person number two. I explained to her that I was at the end of my patience and that if my laptop came back to me unrepaired again, I would be calling back to make arrangements for a new unit to be shipped to me. I was not so polite as that description of my actions makes it sound.

On a totally selfish side of things, I wish you had your laptop back so I could play Warcrack w/o you looking at me going "can i get on it??"
Aren't there any computer companies anymore that don't suck big hairy donkey balls?
